In designing our rooms, we have taken into account not only the technical aspect, but also the human aspect, so that your visit with us is as pleasant as possible.

What technology is available?

Our practice has the most modern equipment: examination equipment, such as endosonography with 3D reconstruction, and an all-electric examination chair as well as special electronic couches. With these technical aids it is possible to detect and examine tumors in the rectum, complicated fistula diseases and the sphincter muscle even more precisely.

In addition, a modern shower toilet is available in our rooms. Here you can freshen up before and after rectal examinations.

Colonoscopies are not performed by Dr. Wittig, but by gastroenterologists. You can learn more about the treatment of other rectal diseases here.

Do the operations also take place on an outpatient basis?

Most of the surgeries, also under anesthesia, can be performed on site in our practice. We have a very good team of anesthesiologists that we have relied on for years.

What about safety and quality?

Our practice has successfully certified itself annually since 2009 according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and optimally fulfills the applicable requirements for a practice-internal quality management system. In the spring of 2016, the practice was successfully inspected by the Health Office and the Trade Licensing Office. All the latest requirements of the health insurance companies are also implemented for you immediately.

What does this mean for you?
The applicable legal and regulatory requirements for practice hygiene and occupational health and safety are fully met. In terms of equipment, we have also placed great emphasis on your well-being and state-of-the-art equipment.
All medical and electrical equipment used in the practice is constantly tested for function and safety.
We are constantly educating ourselves in order to be able to offer you medical care at a high professional level.
In addition, we participate in the quality assurance measure “ambulant operations” of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Bavaria.

Furthermore, the practice of Dr. Florian Wittig has full authorization for further training (12 months) for the additional title of proctology (according to Art. 32 of the Heilberufe-Kammergesetz, Bayerische Landesärztekammer, authorization No. B42337) and 6 months authorization for further training in surgery (authorization No. B42544).
